  I am known to design innovative, low cost antennas for production, with 6 patent applications. I have been the in-house antenna designer directing various cell, 802.11a/b, and satellite radio antenna projects. I have worked with many creative experienced antenna designers. At Centurion we have brought products (e.g., satellite radio) from concept to production. The design approach was to select various antenna elements to attack each project, perform computer modeling (using HFSS), and have technicians build and test the ideas in the lab.

STRENGTHS:

· Engineering Design and Numerical Modeling: Currently design low-cost commercial antennas and have designed high-performance microwave components (single- and multi-beam arrays, feed horns, reflector dishes, stripline circuits, frequency selective surfaces, band gap structures).

· Engineering Guidance and Leadership: Directed development efforts for numerous antenna projects.

· Experimental Design: Strong background in experimental solid state physics lab. Have focused on magnetic materials, performing magnetic ac/dc susceptibility measurements, four-point resistance measurements, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Rutherford Backscattering, IR bolometer, and X-ray analysis. Proficient in high vacuum systems (10-7 torr), cryogenic temperature control systems, computer data acquisition, and machine tools.

· Scientific Analysis: Over 15 years background in the design, analysis and interpretation of experimental results.

· Computer Programming: Matlab, Fortran, Mathematica, and BASIC. Past experience in C. Use PC/Sun/Mac computers.

· Personal Qualities: Responsive to new challenges, enjoy interaction with a work group, strong writing skills (wrote the preliminary patents), creative, persistent. Enjoy participating and/or overseeing in the development of a new product.
